Executive Rehab: Executive Treatment For A Sober Living Facility

Executive Rehab Wants You To Feel Comfortable
An executive rehab knows that an addict is not at fault. They have a disease and illness which is why health insurance companies cover rehab because they know that it’s a disease. So just because you are going to rehab doesn’t mean you can’t go some place nice that you like. If you are used to living a little more of a pampered life than a regular rehab isn’t going to work for you. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to feel comfortable while you go the extra mile to get well.

Executive Treatment Doesn’t Mean You’re Treated Like A Princess
Don’t assume that executive treatment means that you are above the day to day activities that all addict’s are expected to go through while in rehab. Executive treatment just means the facility in which you get treatment for your addiction is a little nicer than normal. You will have a private room but that doesn’t mean you’ll be allowed to just hang out there all day by yourself. You’ll still be expected to participate in counseling sessions, group meetings and other daily activities.

Telling A New Love Interest About Sober Living
For some people the hardest thing to do is tell a new love interest that they are on the path toward sober living. There is this fear that a girl or a guy won’t want to date a recovering addict. That’s probably true in some cases but it’s not true in all and if you have to be honest with your new partner because you have to be honest with yourself. If you lie about that then everything is a lie and you are going to be off the wagon before you know it.
