What comes after a California Drug Rehab Center or Executive Sober Home
Think Sober even as you start your Stay in a California Drug Rehab Center
From the day you start your stay in a California drug rehab center, or any other kind of rehabilitation center, you will have a goal of living sober all on your own someday. Many rehabs follow the philosophy of “one day at a time” but this doesn’t mean that you can’t make plans for the future, and have dreams of how you will structure your sober post rehab life.
After Rehab, try an Executive Sober Home
When you leave your initial stay in rehab, you might not feel quite ready to be out on your own. After all, sobriety can be a delicate thing, and you want to continue to receive support even once you have left the safety of the rehab center. There are many sober living homes, from casual to an executive sober home, where you will be able to start working and socializing but still with guidelines and counseling.
Things to do after Getting out of Drug Rehab
There are so many things to do after getting out of drug rehab. Obviously, you will want to thank your friends and family who have been supportive. Many people want to make apologies to people they have hurt through their addiction. Getting a job and housing is a big step, but taking responsibility is a good thing. It is important to stay busy, and not to hang out with friends who are still using drugs or alcohol. You might be tempted to go back to your favorite clubs or hang outs, but it is a great temptation that should be avoided. You don’t want to undo all your good work now.
